time for a haircut.jpg

Any of you who like to share photos online, have you checked out Flickr? I am currently loving this website. Just a little unpaid commercial announcement. Of course, I’m probably like, the last person on the planet to use it…..but anyway.

We should do a poll. How many people think Ben should have a haircut? I am of two minds…..I love it when parents let their baby boys go without a hair cut. But it gets so nappy after Ben’s naps…

Hmmm. . .tough call. It’s pretty darn cute the way it is. Have you tried baby hair conditioner to help prevent snarls after his naps? Nancy Q

Hey… let him be happy and nappy! Mom said, “Well, you know he’s not black if he’s already had a haircut before his first birthday.” A lot of black folks around here don’t cut the baby’s hair before the first birthday, some before the second. A cousin of mine looked like Little Lord Fauntleroy by the time he had his cut after his SECOND birthday. Anyhoo, I say let him sport long hippie hair or a mullet. Some of the pics last week look as if he has blond streaks… as long as they aren’t purple I can deal. Give him some cool sunglasses.

I do miss having that “Don King look” in the morning…

It looks like it’s long enough to pull of a pretty decent mohawk…

We do, in fact, get fantastic shampoo mohawks. As for the real thing….the egg whites and elmers glue just don’t sit well with baby hair. Maybe in a few years. πŸ™‚
